Angell Deer is an ordained minister, mystic, medicine man, teacher, permaculturist, beekeeper, international speaker, author, and lover of all forms of life.
He dedicates his life to learning and teaching ancient wisdom from Andean Cosmology and Norse Shamanism. His work is inspired by the adventure of not-knowing and the mystery of spiritual living.
Central to Angell's journey is "Sacred Paths," which underlies all his spiritual endeavors, shamanic teachings, and transformative retreats. This serves as the meaning, energy, and vibration guiding his work.
As an author, he published "The Sacred Web" in 2024 and is preparing to release his second book, "Becoming The Medicine," in 2025.
Angell finds inspiration on the land of The Sanctuary—a Shamanic Healing Center and part of "Sacred Paths" in Callicoon, NY. It’s a haven for life, certified as Bee Safe, Pollinator Friendly, Wildlife Refuge, and a Monarch Butterfly Station.
His skills include being a Veterinarian, Medicine Man, Breathwork Practitioner, Reiki Master, Meditation Teacher, and Herbalist. He also founded the New York Bee Sanctuary to protect bees and pollinators.
Angell has advised the United Nations Population Fund and spoken globally, earning titles like NYC Venture Fellow and “Earth Rockstar” at the Global Concert for Earth.
His work embodies compassion for our shared humanity, weaving connections between darkness and light, past and present, people and nature.
