Anne Baring accepted the invitation to be part of the Dreaming the New Earth gathering, yet she is in the middle of finishing her final book, at age 93, and is fully committed to that at this time. We did not do an interview, therefore, but she very kindly offered this fascinating presentation to be included as, in her own words, it is the message she wants to get out into the world in this dark time, and sums up everything she would’ve shared in the interview. It couldn’t be more pertinent and aligned with the intention of this wisdom gathering! Huge gratitude for her incredible life’s work, and for being with us here in heart and spirit.

Anne Baring b. 1931. MA Medieval History Oxford University. PhD (Hons) in Wisdom Studies Ubiquity University 2018. Jungian Analyst, author and co-author of 8 books including, with Jules Cashford, The Myth of the Goddess; Evolution of an Image; with Andrew Harvey, The Mystic Vision and The Divine Feminine; with Dr. Scilla Elworthy, Soul Power: An Agenda for a Conscious Humanity, an illustrated book for children, The Birds Who Flew Beyond Time and her major work, The Dream of the Cosmos: A Quest for the Soul (2013, updated and reprinted 2020). In July 2023 she published Messages from a Transcendent Dimension, the channeled messages received by her mother 1943-68. The ground of all her work is a deep interest in the spiritual, mythological, shamanic, and artistic traditions of different cultures. Her two websites are devoted to a new vision of reality and the issues facing us at this crucial time of choice. Her forthcoming book is called Divine Wisdom and the Holy Spirit: The Forgotten Face of God.
